It is hot here, real hot. The thermostat has been slowly creeping higher day after day, week after week. To the point where I almost long for a wet day because everything, everywhere you look is tinder dry. However, despite my daydreams of summer rain, I do have to say, there is something very satisfying about hanging the sheets out and having them dry in under an hour.
How is the weather at your place today? I am reading all kinds of crazy reports in the news of flooding in Australia and severe snow in Europe.
We are east of all the flooding in Queensland, although had a bit of it last week. Now its stinking hot and muggy...and Im just watching an afternoon storm roll in - hopefully it will cool things down for a while.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a very mild winter here in West Virginia...and perhaps a little rainy too...it seems so strange to have rain in January after 7 years in North Dakota...I sort of miss the snow...
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day!
i love your pretty sheets! weather here? it is just brewing up a cozy storm - good day to have a baby i'd say!
ReplyDeleteOh you are lucky! It is summer here in Wellington, NZ too, but once again the skies are grey. Feel free to magic some sunshine my way, lol! The lovely Julie at 'Tales from Toadstool House' has given me the "Versatile Blogger" award and the idea is to pass it on to 15 fabulous new blogs you have come across (and then list 7 bits of information about yourself on your next post). I would like to award it to you, so please feel free to pop over to mine to copy it. Becks x
