My Creative Space- Merino Dresses


Well after a long hiatus, I finally have my sewing mojo back!



I whipped up these two little merino dresses for my two little girls this week. Perfect, snuggly warm dresses as the weather cools with the approach of winter. 



They were made using this Heidi and Finn pattern. Super easy pattern and even if your a novice sewer, Heidi and Finn patterns are so easy to follow. 


I just love how they have turned out, thinking I may whip up a couple more.

    Beautiful dresses, Lou! They look perfect for Winter :-) And oh my, doesn't Holly look so grown up! (look at that gorgeous hair!!!)

    Awww those dresses are adorable! I've just brought a heap of merino so would love to make some dresses for Tsunami.
    Sadly that pattern is now saying sold out but I'll keep an eye out for more.

    They are lovely, and cute models too! I've always wanted to sew this type of fabric but didn't know if you need a certain kind of machine or needle. What do you use?
